PROFILI AKADEMIK

Rudina Toto është kërkuese shkencore dhe eksperte në qeverisje territorial dhe planifikim mjedisor pranë Co-PLAN, Instituti për Zhvillimin e Habitatit në Tiranë, Shqipëri. Ajo është e angazhuar në mësimdhënie dhe kërkim shkencor në Universitetin POLIS dhe është aktive përmes projektesh dhe rrjetëzimesh në Ballkanin Perëndimor. Rudina ka një eksperiencë të pasur në planifikim urban dhe rrajonal dhe së fundmi edhe në planifkim për reduktimin e riskut të fatkeqësive me origjinë nga fenomenet natyrore. Ajo ka bashkëautorësi në legjislacionin e planifikimit të territorit, të zhvilluar gjatë periudhës 2010 – 2016, dhe mban titullin Dr. nga Universiteti POLIS dhe nga Universiteit i Ferrarës në Itali, me temë të fokusuar në burimet e përbashkëta/komunale pyjore. Që prej studimeve të doktoraturës, puna e saj kërkimore fokusohet veçanërisht në hapësirën publike urbane dhe në shërbimet e ekosistemit.
