Homo Digitalis Project Memorandum

From December 4th to 6th, 2023, Polis University, based in Tirana, was part of the inaugural event for the commencement of the Homo Digitalis project. This groundbreaking initiative, a vital element of the ERASMUS+ programme, brought together a consortium of Higher Education Institutions from Europe and the Western Balkans, featuring representatives from nine participating universities.

The opening day featured welcoming remarks from the project Coordinator, Prof. Konstantinos Giakoumis, providing a brief introduction to himself, his team, and the overarching objectives of the Homo Digitalis project. Each Consortium partner delivered concise presentations about their respective institutions.

On the second day, discussions took place within the Quality Monitoring Committee, focusing on topics related to the Quality Monitoring Action Plan and the Quality Management Committee.

The collaborative efforts of all partners laid a robust foundation for the success of the Homo Digitalis project. This event marked the beginning of a significant educational venture in the field of Digital Humanities, underscoring the unwavering commitment of Higher Education institutions from the Western Balkans and the EU to fostering excellence in ERASMUS+ projects.
