The extensive network of international partners and POLIS high involvement in international programs and projects have been instrumental in achieving the mobility of staff and students.

Types of mobility’s:

  1. The mobility of students has been ensured for shorter periods though joint workshops with international partners such as with TU Wien, FH Mainz, Anhalt University of Sciences, Bezalel University etc.,
  2. Longer mobility periods have been provided to master students enrolled in the joint programs with a foreign partner such as IHS/Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Ipag Business School and Lawrence Tech.
  3. The PhD program foresees an obligatory mobility of at least 6 months for its students so this is the program with the highest share of the mobility of students.
  4. Generally for all the study programs since the Bachelor up to the PhD the mobility of students has increased significantly during the last 3 years due to the participation of POLIS in Erasmus+, KA1 projects. This are EU funded projects dedicated to the mobility of students but also of staff, therefore a number of teaching and nonteaching staff have also benefited from these projects (i.e with UMinho, IHS/Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Ipag Business School, Riga Building College, Universita degli Studi di Molise, etc.).

Additionally for the mobility of staff other international programs such as H2020, Tempus, Erasmus+ KA2, Creative Europe, etc have enabled a high rate of international mobility for the academic staff. POLIS intends to encourage further these mobility projects, which we retain highly beneficial not only for the participants, but for the entire institution as well.
