Cultural association #Mikser based in Belgrade teamed up with the Croatian furniture manufacturer #NUNC in launching a special edition of the #Young_Balkan_Designers competition creating a unique opportunity for the next generation of Balkan designers up to 40 years of age to join Nunc on its mission to reinterpret the region’s rich tradition and culture into innovative and recognizable contemporary design products.
The #international_jury consisting of renown international design figures such as Marva Griffin of Milan Furniture Fair’s Salone Satellite, Henriette Waal of Atelier Luma, Nikola Radeljkovic from Numan/ForUse collective, and Young Balkan Designers founders and curators Jelena Matic and Maja Lalic, will select the most inspiring works that will be exhibited at the #YBD for NUNC exhibition at the Faculty of Forestry during the Belgrade International Furniture Fair 2023, where the Nunc’s product development team will select projects to be developed into real products and presented to global audience at the #International_Furniture_Fair in Milan Italy in April 2024.
