The professional study programs at POLIS University aim to equip students with basic formative and practical knowledge on general methods and principles. These programs are realized with 120 (one hundred and twenty) training credits, referring to level 5 of the Albanian Framework of Qualifications and their normal duration is 2 (two) academic years. At the end of the professional study programs, a “Professional Diploma” is issued according to the program of study.Also, students who graduate from these programs have full recognition of studies in Albania, the EU and North America. The program is organized in such a way that it allows the “Work and Learn” concept.
The programs in question at U-POLIS are equipped with laboratories such as: 5 Computer Laboratories, Environment and Energy Laboratory, IF-FabLab Laboratory, Mola Building Materials and Structures Laboratory, Photography, Painting and Ceramics Laboratory, Business Incubator and Library . The school has adopted a special curriculum that stimulates those who work but also learn full-time, those who have family, personal businesses, or work in public or private companies. The establishment of these programs has been made possible thanks to the support from several European projects in the fields of professional education and technology, which have subsidized investments in learning, infrastructure, as well as fees that are among the most social for vocational schools in the country. The programs are open with the assistance of the Erasmus and Tempus Projects.
