ACADEMIC PROFILE
Esmeralda Marku completed Bachelor and Master of Science studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in the Textile and Fashion Engineering branch, at the Polytechnic University of Tirana (UPT).
Marku comes with extensive experience in the Albanian industrial and academic market, having been part of prestigious companies in Albania in the field of industrial production and design, including the production of clothing, shoes, bags and magazines in the positions of industrial pattern-maker, specialist of product development, quality analyst, image curator, etc.
In terms of academic experience, Esmeralda Marku has held the position of instructor of the “Pattern Maker Industrial” subject at the “Ace Craftsman Education” school for 2 years.
Since September 2022, Mark has been part of POLIS University, in the role of Lecturer Assistant in several subjects that focus on the development techniques of textile and fashion products.
ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE
September 2022, Workshop: TIRANA ARCHITECTURE WEEK (TAW), CITY PATTERN, WORKING WITH FASADE (POLIS University)
Position: Head of the workshop on the realization of textile patterns based on the architecture and facade of the buildings of Tirana.
April 2022, Workshop: FASHION MAKING, FUTURE SOFTWARE (POLIS University)
Position: Head of the workshop on the realization of industrial fashion products using technology.
