EDUCATION
PhD. Kujtim Halili is a visual artist, curator (art manager), and Doctor of Sciences in the “Art and Cultural Heritage” program at the International Doctoral School of the University of Seville. Currently, at our university, he holds the position of lecturer in the Department of Art and Design.
He studied at the Academy of Arts, now the University of Arts in Tirana, where he graduated as a sculptor in 2010. He later deepened his knowledge through postgraduate studies in art, earning a Master of Science in “Ideas and Production” in 2015. During this period, he also completed an advanced technical school in “Artistic Ceramics Design” and earned another degree in “Pottery Design” at the School of Arts in Seville.
From 2013 to 2018, Dr. Halili served as an Honorary Assistant in the Department of Sculpture and the History of Plastic Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Seville, where he taught courses such as “Polychrome Sculpture,” “Fundamentals of Sculpture,” “Discourse on Sculpture and its Environment,” “Sculptural Carving IV,” and “Artistic Foundry.” Simultaneously, in 2013-2014, he coordinated the academic and curricular linkage program between the University of Seville and the University of Arts in Tirana, specifically between the Department of Sculpture and the History of Plastic Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts.
From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a professor of “Specialized Techniques – Artistic Ceramics” at the University of Arts in Tirana. At the same university, while pursuing his higher studies from 2008 to 2010, he was a member of the Senate and the Academic Council, representing with voting rights both the University Senate and the Council of Professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
WORK EXPERIENCE
In the years 2013-2018, he is an Honorary Assistant in the Department of Sculpture and Art History Plastic. Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Seville (Spain) in the subjects, “Sculpture polychrome”, “Fundamentals of sculpture”, “Discourse on sculpture and its environment”, “Carving Sculpture -IV” and “Artistic Foundation”.
During this period, there was a 2-year break (2014-2016), to work as a professor of “Specialty Techniques – Artistic Ceramics” at the University of Arts of Tirana.
(2013 -2014): Program coordinator: Academic liaison between the University of Seville and Tirana University of Arts: Department of Sculpture and Art History Plastic. Faculty of Fine Arts. Higher Education. University of Seville – Spain.
(2008 – 2010): Member of the Senate and Member of the Academic Council: Representative by the right vote in the Senate of the University and the Council of Professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts: University of Arts, Tirana (UART). Higher Education.
