ACADEMIC PROFILE
Armela Lamaj is a lecturer and Fashion Designer, graduated in 2008 from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, in Milan, Italy, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts and a Master’s degree in Fashion Design in 2010. During hear studies, she showed particular interest in technology and new materials applied to the textile industry, exploring the connections between design and architecture, with a focus on the impact of technology on these two disciplines. Being the subject of her scientific research. She is currently pursuing her research topic “Textiles in Architecture” in the doctoral program of the of Polis University and the University of Ferrara in Italy. After completing her master’s studies in Italy, Armela worked in Tirana as an art teacher at “Liceun Artistice Jordan Misja”. She has also been part of many activities related to the field of fashion, where she worked as a fashion editor in various magazines. She is a lecturer on Fashion Design and Textiles coursis in the Department of Arts and Design at Polis University.
