Cultural and professional profile

This study program aims to provide basic knowledge on art and design as part of a series of formative art activities combined with other applied fields which bring a new color to this formation. In this way, this study program aims to create the profile of an art and design expert with a wider, theoretical and practical training, who “takes care” not only of the functional side of objects or created works, but also the aesthetic one in the field of graphic design, industrial design, fashion, photography, painting, sculpture, etc. During the second cycle of studies, the student is able to deepen further in more specific areas of art, design, including architecture.

Employment opportunities

The main employment sectors include:
– The private sector of artistic studios; independent artists, including the applied part of art; “industry” of marketing, publishing, media in general, clothing, fashion, furniture manufacturing, etc.
– Public sector: at the different levels of government, to tackle with a new spirit the issues related to the education of aesthetic taste and which have a high degree of social impact.
