Professional profile

This program aims at the in-depth specialization of students who have completed first-cycle studies in the same and/or related fields. The program aims to guarantee advanced training and specialized competences through providing in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of urban environmental management. The program also aims to focus students on the components of management, policy-making in function of sustainable environment and quality of life, including environmentally sensitive management of private enterprises, forming a professional figure that balances knowledge of engineering, planning and scientific fields with managerial ones. .

Employment opportunities
The main employment sectors include:
– The private sector of companies or consulting and design studios in the field of environment; in private business companies to guarantee environmental standards in the performance of these companies; as an expert in multidisciplinary teams that provide consultancy in urban planning and management; the same service can be offered by these experts also in the framework of international organizations such as the World Bank, European Institutions, UNDP which have the environment as a very important evaluation criterion and implement numerous projects in this field not only in Albania but also in countries others.
– The public sector At the different levels of central and local government and are expected to bring a significant impact on the governance and control of the territory based on the concepts of urban environmental management; at the central government level;
– Local and foreign scientific research institutions which have as their main focus the field of environment and urban environmental management.
