Dr. Blerta Mjeda

Blerta Mjeda holds the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences, obtained in July, 2019 at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tirana, title, “Analysis of Risk and Uncertainty Management in Oil Projects. The case of Albpetrol Company.

During the period 2003-2005 she completed the Master of Science Studies for Economic Informatics, Project for Post-Communist countries, with internship in Bremen, Germany, at BIAS Research Institute (Bremer angewandte Strachltechnik, GmbH).

She graduated in 2003 at the Faculty of Economics of the “Luigj Gurakuqi” University of Shkodra, “Business Administration”.

She has participated and completed successfully many qualifications, trainings, internships such as MATRA Pre-Accession Training Program (MATRA PATROL) in Hague, Holland, training course “Financial Management and Control, Leadership Academy at the School of Political Studies, summer School for Local Public Service Rules at the Fondazione per l-Ambiente, Turin, Italy.

She is as a part-time Assistant/Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the “Luigj Gurakuqi” Shkodra.

On September 16, 2024, she is a Lecturer at the Planning and Management Department at “Polis” University

Her professional experience as a Director of Finance in the Municipality of Shkodër, a professional experience of more than 10 years in Local Finance Management, participating in many Trainings, workshops and meetings as well as Training of Trainers (Tot) in the field of Financial Management and Control.
