ACADEMIC PROFILE

Dr. Shefqet Suparaku completed his bachelor’s degree (in 2006), the Master of Science (in 2009) and his PhD studies (in 2022) at “La Sapienza” University of Rome, Department of Management, Faculty of Economy. Additionally, he holds a Professional Master’s degree in “Health Management” (2014) from the Institute of Higher Education “ISSAT.” His doctoral studies were particularly focused on scientific research in the field of “Healthcare Management Systems.”
In addition to his 12 years of professional experience in the industrial sector, mainly in the fields of finance, administration, and consulting with renowned private sector firms, he has been actively engaged in part-time academic roles since 2011 at reputable universities in Albania, such as: University of Aleksandër Xhuvani (2011 – 2013), the University of Kristal (2012 – 2013), the University of Medicine Tirana (UMT) (from 2012 onwards), and the European University of Tirana – UET (2022 – 2023). During the period of 2017 – 2018, he served as a curriculum consultant in the “Health Management” master’s program, which was part of the HAP project (Health for All Project). Currently, he holds the position of a full-time lecturer and Master Coordinator at Polis Business School.
Dr. Shefqet Suparaku has successfully completed numerous training programs and obtained qualifications in the field of Marketing and Management from international institutions. Furthermore, he is an author and co-author of several scientific articles presented at various conferences and published in journals both within the country and abroad. His research areas encompass management, marketing, sustainable development, and innovation.
