Leonora Haxhiu

Leonora Haxhiu is a laboratory assistant who assists the teaching process at the Faculty of Planning, Environment and Management, Department of Urban Planning and Management. She has a “Bachelor” and “Professional Master” degree in Geo-Informatics Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Tirana. He is currently completing his MSc in Computer Science at POLIS University. Meanwhile, Leonora assists the teaching process at U-Polis, especially near the laboratory with programs focusing on GIS systems and applications. She has extensive previous work experience in the field of GIS systems, as well as an online specialization in these systems from the University of California, Davis, USA. After completing her scientific training, she intends to delve into scientific and doctoral research on the relationship between GIS and territorial planning.

Her areas of interest and scientific research include: Geospatial technologies and their application in urban planning / Environmental analysis through GIS systems / Remote Sensing / Photogrammetry / GIS and Computer Science, etc
