Deniz Güçler

Deniz Güçler is an astronomer and mathematician. She completed her high school, university, and postgraduate studies in Turkey. She earned her undergraduate degree in Astronomy and Space Sciences at Ankara University (2000), while her degree in Mathematics was obtained at Kırıkkale University (2011). She received her pedagogical formation at Hacettepe University/Ankara (2013). She completed her Master’s in Mathematics at Beykent University/Istanbul (2015) and her doctoral studies once again at Ankara University in the field of mathematics, with a specialization in geometry (2022). Her doctoral thesis, which is a combination of two disciplines, namely astronomy and mathematics, discusses the applications of quaternions in spherical astronomy problems.

Another field of interest for Deniz Güçler is the transport of dangerous goods. She is one of the first individuals certified by the Ministry of Transport in Turkey as a consultant and trainer of consultants for the ADR code and for drivers transporting these materials. She has been practicing these professions for 10 years.

In the early 2000s, Deniz Güçler worked as an external lecturer at the University of Tirana, in the Physics Department. In the following years, she taught subjects such as Physics and Mathematics at the high school and university levels in various institutions. As of June 2024, she has been part of the academic staff at Polis University. She covers subjects related to the fields of Mathematics and Physics.
