On November 19, at the Pyramid of Tirana, POLIS University and ASIG organized the event “Geo-Epoch: Where Geospace Unites Disciplines”, as part of GIS Day 2025.

Through the presentations, the importance of geoinformation was emphasized, along with the crucial role that geospatial data plays in understanding territory, urban planning, and informed decision-making.

A key moment of the event was the signing of the ASIG–POLIS University Cooperation Agreement, which strengthens collaboration between the public institution and academia in education and research within the geospatial field.

The event concluded with a brief Q&A panel, where ideas and visions for the future of the “Geo-Epoch” in Albania were shared.
