Mad Center “Galeria G\u00ebzim Q\u00ebndro”<\/b>\u00a0\u00a0is thrilled to invite you at the group show \u201cFORMS<\/b>\u201d by students from the Department of Art and Design of Polis University this upcoming Thursday, March 6. The works were realized during the Modeling & Ceramic class.<\/span><\/p>

Terracotta sculpture has been a means of expression accompanying humanity since its inception, uniting art, functionality and tradition. In this exhibition, titled\u00a0Forms<\/em>, we delve into the fascinating universe of terracotta, a noble and warm material that has been used for centuries to shape not only everyday objects but also to give form to concepts, emotions and narratives that define our time.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

The pieces in this exhibition function as a “celebration of form” in its purest essence. From organic figures that evoke nature to abstract compositions that challenge traditional perceptions of space and symmetry.\u00a0\u00a0Each work reveals an in-depth exploration of the relationship between material and form. Terracotta, with its characteristic red hue, offers a unique texture that is not only visually appealing but also tactile, inviting the viewer to connect with the works in a more sensitive and direct manner.<\/span><\/p>

The use of terracotta is not only a reference to its functionality as a ceramic material but also to its symbolic value. The versatility of this material, capable of adapting to both figurative and abstract expressions, creates an opportunity for reflection on art in its most primitive yet sophisticated state.
