POLIS University is a self-financed institution with strong social responsibilities. The founders are a prominent group of Albanian professionals, civil society activists and academics, aiming to create a “critical mass” of experts and leaders of private enterprise and public administration, capable of pushing Albania and the region towards the EU and global trends .<\/p>

POLIS has three main units: three Faculties, an inter-departmental unit the Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation Study Center<\/a> (IF), and a UNECE Center of Excellence<\/a> (OMB). Each faculty consists of three basic units: two Departments<\/strong> and a Research Center<\/strong>.<\/p>

The University is composed of: 3 Faculties, 6 Departments, 3 Centers, and 3 Strategic Research Partners, located on the U_POLIS campus: the Institute for Habitat Development<\/a><\/u><\/strong> (Co-Plan); the Architecture and Urban Design<\/u><\/strong> Studio<\/a> (Metro_POLIS); as well as the partner dedicated to the protection of professional rights, AUA – the Union of Architects, Urbanists, and Urban Planners<\/u><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
