style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When searching for the right partner university, you must check the following factors:<\/span><\/i><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is there an open call for the desired university?<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Is my degree program eligible for an exchange with desired university?<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 2: <\/span><b>Applying at International Office<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the partner university checks both factors, you can apply by sending the application documents at the responsible person for Student Mobilities (Redirect te faqja e Contacts\/IRO Team). Your application will be evaluated by the International Office and you will receive feedback on the result by email.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 3: <\/span><b>Nomination at Partner University<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After your application has received positive feedback, International Office will nominate you at the Partner University. In case of positive feedback, you will receive the necessary information from the partner university about the next steps.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 4: <\/span><b>Application at Partner University<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After you receive the necessary information by Partner University, you must follow their instruction to go through with your application. Usually, you will need to resubmit the previous application documents, along with other necessary requirements by the partner university.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Step 5:<\/span><b> Feedback<\/b> <b>of your Application<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Your application will be evaluated by the partner university and you will be notified via email on the result. In case of positive feedback, you can start the organizational preparations for your stay abroad.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1184\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1184\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Prepare your stay<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1184\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"4\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1184\"><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Learning Agreement:<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Learning Agreement serves to define how the courses you take abroad will be recognized and credited toward your degree program at your home university, prior to the start of your exchange semester.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All students receiving Erasmus funding for their studies at a partner university are required to complete a Learning Agreement. The \u201cBefore the mobility\u201d section must be filled out before the beginning of the stay abroad and signed by all three parties involved:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The student<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The responsible person for the respective program at host university<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The responsible person for the respective program at home university<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><b>Online Learning Agreement (OLA)<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The EU Commission has required all universities in Europe to implement \u201cErasmus Without Paper,\u201d which involves the digitalisation of key procedures within the Erasmus programme. One of these processes is the creation and management of Learning Agreements.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, not all universities are yet fully equipped to handle Learning Agreements online. In such case, the PDF template of Learning Agreement will be provided to you which you can submit it via emails or website portals depending on the host university.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Accommodation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:\u00a0<\/span><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support from your host university<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your host university will provide support to help you find accommodation. In the case that they can\u2019t offer dormitories, they will provide suggestions for student housing or other ways of accommodation. Get in contact with your host university.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Visa &amp; Residence Permit<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-Albanian citizens can enter and stay Visa-free in all Europe countries, except United Kingdom and Ireland, for up to <\/span><b>90 days within a 180-day period<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you plan to stay longer than 90 days (for example, for a full semester exchange or internship), you must apply for a <\/span><b>Visa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the respective embassy of the host country for Albanian citizens.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For stays longer than 90 days, you must also apply for a <\/span><b>Residence Permit <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the local immigration office <\/span><b>within<\/b> <b>30 days <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of entering the host country.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information about Visa for Albanian citizens: Albanian <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/punetejashtme.gov.al\/en\/info-per-qytetaret-shqiptare\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-If you hold an EU passport you can enter and stay Visa-free in any EU country for up to <\/span><b>90 days within a 180-day period.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you plan to stay longer than 90 days (for example, for a full semester exchange or internship), you don\u2019t need a Visa but you must register your residence in the host country and you will receive the <\/span><b>Certificate of Registration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> or <\/span><b>Proof of Residence<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If the host country is non-EU you will only need to apply for a <\/span><b>Resident<\/b> <b>Permit<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> within 30 day of your arrival.<\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Insurance\u00a0<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All non-EU students, including Albanian, must have valid health, accident, and liability insurance for the entire mobility period abroad.<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Health insurance: must cover medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation in the host country. (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mandatory<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Accident insurance: covers injuries during study or traineeship activities. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Recommended)<\/span><\/i><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Liability insurance: covers damages caused to others or property. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Recommended)<\/span><\/i><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please check with your insurance company on which benefits your insurance covers in the host country. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is not valid for Albanian citizens.<\/span><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Funding<\/b><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Erasmus+ offers much more than financial support. In addition to funding, it establishes the general conditions for studying abroad, including recognition of credits, waiver of tuition fees, and access to language support services.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The scholarship provides a monthly budget calculated for the entire duration of your stay. The exact amount varies depending on the host country and is designed to help cover travel and living expenses during your study abroad.<\/span><\/p><p><b><i>Disclaimer<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: ERASMUS+ funding does not provide the administrational support for travel or living costs. This budget amount will be transferred in a bank account<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> chosen by you and then you can do as you please with this budget. Is my degree program eligible for an exchange with desired university? Step 2: Applying at International Office&#8211; If the partner university checks both factors, you can apply by sending the application documents at the responsible person for Student Mobilities (Redirect te faqja e Contacts\/IRO Team). Your application will be evaluated by the International Office and you will receive feedback on the result by email.Step 3: Nomination at Partner University&#8211; After your application has received positive feedback, International Office will nominate you at the Partner University. In case of positive feedback, you will receive the necessary information from the partner university about the next steps.Step 4: Application at Partner University&#8211; After you receive the necessary information by Partner University, you must follow their instruction to go through with your application. Usually, you will need to resubmit the previous application documents, along with other necessary requirements by the partner university.Step 5: Feedback of your Application&#8211; Your application will be evaluated by the partner university and you will be notified via email on the result. In case of positive feedback, you can start the organizational preparations for your stay abroad. Prepare your stay Learning Agreement: The Learning Agreement serves to define how the courses you take abroad will be recognized and credited toward your degree program at your home university, prior to the start of your exchange semester.All students receiving Erasmus funding for their studies at a partner university are required to complete a Learning Agreement. The \u201cBefore the mobility\u201d section must be filled out before the beginning of the stay abroad and signed by all three parties involved: The student The responsible person for the respective program at host university The responsible person for the respective program at home university Online Learning Agreement (OLA)The EU Commission has required all universities in Europe to implement \u201cErasmus Without Paper,\u201d which involves the digitalisation of key procedures within the Erasmus programme. One of these processes is the creation and management of Learning Agreements. However, not all universities are yet fully equipped to handle Learning Agreements online. In such case, the PDF template of Learning Agreement will be provided to you which you can submit it via emails or website portals depending on the host university. Accommodation:\u00a0 Support from your host university Your host university will provide support to help you find accommodation. In the case that they can\u2019t offer dormitories, they will provide suggestions for student housing or other ways of accommodation. Get in contact with your host university. Visa &amp; Residence Permit -Albanian citizens can enter and stay Visa-free in all Europe countries, except United Kingdom and Ireland, for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. If you plan to stay longer than 90 days (for example, for a full semester exchange or internship), you must apply for a Visa at the respective embassy of the host country for Albanian citizens. For stays longer than 90 days, you must also apply for a Residence Permit at the local immigration office within 30 days of entering the host country. Information about Visa for Albanian citizens: Albanian Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. -If you hold an EU passport you can enter and stay Visa-free in any EU country for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. If you plan to stay longer than 90 days (for example, for a full semester exchange or internship), you don\u2019t need a Visa but you must register your residence in the host country and you will receive the Certificate of Registration or Proof of Residence.\u00a0 If the host country is non-EU you will only need to apply for a Resident Permit within 30 day of your arrival. Insurance\u00a0 All non-EU students, including Albanian, must have valid health, accident, and liability insurance for the entire mobility period abroad. Health insurance: must cover medical treatment, hospitalization, and repatriation in the host country. (Mandatory) Accident insurance: covers injuries during study or traineeship activities. (Recommended) Liability insurance: covers damages caused to others or property. (Recommended) Please check with your insurance company on which benefits your insurance covers in the host country. The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is not valid for Albanian citizens. Funding Erasmus+ offers much more than financial support.
